Why do I need a working video?

A damaged recording has lost the information that describes how its video and audio are stored. A healthy file from the same camera, recorded with the same settings, contains that information, so we can use it as a guide to rebuild the broken one.

What is the preview?

The preview is a short, lower-quality copy so you can check that the repair worked. The file you download is the full-quality repaired video.

Who can see my videos?

Your files are used only to repair the video. The originals are removed as soon as the repair finishes, and the repaired video is deleted automatically. You can also delete it yourself at any time.
